Distribution:
- Distributors can acquire a film for a fee and then gain rights to sell the movie.
- Have to market your film so people know about.
- Distributors need to spend loads on marketing so they make loads at the box office.
What is the money spent on?
- Media (Pre-Opening), Majority of the money will be spent before the opening. This is because it is important to obtain hype so more people would see this.

TV Spend
- This is the biggest cost when it comes to distributing a film
- In the UK a 30 second commercial at peak time can be £10,000 - £30,000.
- In the USA the biggest one would be commercials during the superbowl.
