AUDIENCE RESEARCH


PRIMARY = research you do yourself

SECONDARY = research that already exists. But this can come with a few complications, such as reliability.

What is your competition? what do your audience want.

QUANTITATIVE:

  • statistical
  • numerical
  • normally done large scale
  • closed questions
QUALITATIVE:
  • more opinion based 
  • attitudes / beliefs
  • done in interviews 
  • more smaller scale
  • open questions
